First box?
What was your first ever windows box like? We all started somewhere...

mine featured a huge 4gb hard drive with 64mb of RAM running windows 98.

how times have changed since then...

RE: First box?
First computer I ever used was an Apple II at school, it had some awesome games. Then I started playing around on my grandpa computer, I dont know the specs I was pretty young, it was rocking Windows 3.1. Then my parents bought a computer, an awesome 180mhz dell, that I still have in my room. I've got it dual booting SuSE 9.1 and Windows 98. I've never seen a computer run Win98 better than it does. And now I have two laptops and another of my parents desktops and I'll probably be adding nother laptop around the beginning of next year.

RE: First box?
My grandpa's computer runs Windows 98 HORRIBLY Sad

He thinks it's fine, because he has never tried anything else, no XP, nothing. Whenever I go over, I am forced to use it (there are no other computers there). Why do some people get all the luck ^^

RE: First box?
Now that I remember... I kinda, just a tiny bit, remember my first PC. I have no clue what it was, I was way to young, but I remember playing some school bus game on it ^^

RE: First box?
Those were the times... I used to value a computer for being a computer. Now, if it has anything under 1GB RAM and 2.39GHz, it sucks to me lol ^^
