Good Antivirus Software
I am using avast home edition 4.8 but I do not know whether I can rely on it or not.On the other hand,I also heard that nod32 antivirus is a very good antivirus software.Could someone please give their opinions about these two antiviruses or suggest to me an even better one please?

RE: Good Antivirus Software
To my knowledge, NOD32 is better than Avast.

RE: Good Antivirus Software
NOD32 is real good compared to avast, its very well written from the code up and easy to use with a none-bulky interface.

From using it i've seen a good detection rate and the intelligent feature seems okay too (guessing files that may be a virus without having their signature)

I notice it mostly stripping viruses out of my email when i check them with thunderbird which is pretty useful and I dont notice it slowing down my email or computer

RE: Good Antivirus Software
NOD32 is the best paid AV in my opinion, while Avast is the best free AV in my opinion.
