But seriously, if this is true then it might really be the end for HD DVD. As the article states I think it would benefit everyone for one type to be adopted(as long as its blu-ray )

hmm is that saying that dvd will become obselete and no more movies will be made for it, and hd-dvd is then gonna be by-passed by blu-ray, and as what i read that as they make all movies for blu-ray, forcing us to shell out over £600 (unless we buy a ps3) to buy a blu-ray player and the disc at £50 a pop...

seems a bleak future.. (unless we buy bluray)

hopefully physical media will be become obselete by 2010, so then we just stream content from our pc's to our tvs, radios, etc

whatever anyone says we should go back to cartridges like the n64 games. no loading times

but hey, we're an advancing world and HD-DVD just got invented at the wrong time really.
