my dvd drive wont read a dvd

heyy,

i got pirates of the caribeean 3 on dvd here its a dual layer disc and my dvd decoder cant read it, ive tried playing it on wmp, real plater, interactual player, ive installed all the codecs, downloaded new drivers for my sound card and vid card and still it will not work, every other dvd works but this one?

and i wanna watch it on my comp

also, the disc says its copy protected, but im not gonna copy it

any ideas what to do??

Did you download new drivers for your DVD drive too?

EDIT: I would google your DVD drive and that error if the new drivers don't work.

EDIT2: If you can't find anything, I would try to use DVD43 and then use something like Handbrake to rip and watch. If you bought the DVD, it's legally yours.

Hey dude,

Remove the dvd drive in device manager and then reboot your PC.

Windows should recognise it and load the drivers needed on reboot.

Then try whatever you need to do.
