windows xp audio playback hardware?

windows xp audio playback hardware?
i recently wiped my computer and when starting it again i realized i had no sound
when checking settings i found no sound devices

anyone know where to find a compatible sound device
without going to the windows xp providers?

i dont need sleep as long as you put a coffee shop nearby

if you know the make of the sound chip/card you can also go to their own website.

if its built onto the motherboard then go to the motherboard website and look for your motherboard. then go to the downloads section and they should have drivers for it there

i searched the disk that came with my old pc, and the sound drivers were in a folder for the motherboard

well i never used to have the internet on my computer so i used to mess with the settings a lot and look at how xp works. when i got the internet i decided to try and find out how that worked too and it got me into web dev.
