i just remembered about this software so thought i'd share it with you all.
it decrypts copyrighted DVDs on the fly so you can make backups without hitting any copyright errors http://www.dvd43.com/ its freeware too, its also a bit old but still works a treat for me Web Hosting | Shoutcast Servers | Custom Solutions |

Yeah, I've used that for a while now. I just bought the Wild Hogs DVD, and it worked fine when I backed it up on my external. I use it in conjunction with Handbrake which is an awesome program.
