Upgrading to Vista X64
Before vista came out, I was doing some reading on the offical site. When is listed upgrades, it said that people with Windows XP Pro x64 would need a clean install of vista, but a better version of vista would be available to people who run 64bit systems.
Now after release there are x64 upgrade versions of Vista, my question is this, will it upgrade from x64 pro to x64 vista? Or would it only work upgrading x86 (32bit) xp to x64 vista? If anyone has tried and could share any experience. I know the best place to check would be the microsoft site, but come on, its microsoft, vista has enough bugs without worrying about versions. RE: Upgrading to Vista X64
I wouldnt recommend a 64 bit OS any day. Very few programs still compatible, so not much fun. Now as Vista matures, this will for sure change because I have heard that soon 64 will be the way to go.

RE: Upgrading to Vista X64
Vista = teh suck...
Why are you upgrading? It's not even really considered an upgrade, XP to Linux is an upgrade But seriously, XP beats Vista if you are a gamer. Vista has got better then when it was first released, but still not stable enough. If I was you, I would stick with XP and wait for the highly anticipated SP3.
