i wish the users didn't need to download .net though, would be much better then!

i'd use java but the gui it builds looks so unnatural on windows.

Well doing it in VB is fine. The whole point of the language is to create simple applications like this quickly. C is a whole different animal.

Well, how many people that have XP don't have .NET 2.0? I mean, it went out via windows update and it's been around for a few years and I haven't met anyone with SP2 that doesn't have .NET on it.

well i didnt have .net 2.0 personally untill vb express told me to download it. i turned off windows updates for some reason or another... Rolleyes
